On June 24th and 25th DiDAX participated in the first in-person meeting of the DigNA group in Munich, Germany. DigNA is a portfolio of projects that was born as part of the EIC Pathfinder Challenge dedicated to DNA-based digital data storage.
DigNA, which is structured as a cluster of projects funded by the European Innovation Council and active in the same field, has the ambitious objective of sharing and advancing knowledge in the field of DNA storage. This first meeting will be important to strengthen the relationships established in the previous months and plan the activities of the various working groups that make up DigNA. In parallel sessions of the various working groups the members of the various projects involved – 9 in total – had the opportunity to work together on their respective objectives.
June 25th was dedicated to a visit to the Center for Functional Protein Assemblies (CPA), where many valuable insights were gained.
