At the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, rises the 3D-knitted media architecture ‘Necto’. It is an immersive, innovative, and computationally derived membrane structure, with contribution from DiDAX.
Genomika has officially joined the DiDAX consortium as part of the Hop-on initiative. Genomika’s team will focus on advancing the readout layer of DNA data storage, particularly in sequencing-based data retrieval.
Many DiDAX members attended the 23rd Israeli Bioinformatics Symposium (IBS 2025) annual meeting. At the conference, Zohar Yakhini delivered the Benny Chor Memorial Lecture, with a significant focus on synthetic biology and DNA-based data storage. In addition, many students presented posters on their DiDAX related research.

The best poster award at the 2024 European School on Information Theory (ESIT) was awarded to DiDAX member Anisha Banerjee for her poster “Error-correcting codes for nanopore sequencing”. Congratulations to Anisha!
On June 24th and 25th DiDAX participated in the first in-person meeting of the DigNA group in Munich, Germany. DigNA is a portfolio of projects that was born as part of the EIC Pathfinder Challenge dedicated to DNA-based digital data storage.
The DiDAX project, held its kick-off meeting at the tranquil Lake Starnberg. This collaborative effort brings together seven research groups from four universities in three nations, with 19 participants attending.
