The DiDAX consortium met in Kaunas, Lithuania, for its second annual meeting, hosted by Genomika. The team reviewed recent advancements in DNA-based data storage, DNA-of-Things, chemical unclonable functions, and photolithographic oligonucleotide synthesis. Sessions included strategic planning for upcoming deliverables and scientific talks on DNA storage fidelity and printing function into matter.
Complementing the technical discussions, the team explored Lithuanian culture through a city tour and a visit to the M. K. Čiurlionis National Museum of Art. The event concluded at Genomika’s facilities in Tech-Park Kaunas, where attendees toured the labs to observe new developments in nanopore sequencing library preparation.
